If you do not expect to see the usual grand buildings for a palace you'd be fascinated by the charming buildings intended for the Romanian Roayl family and their guests. The architectural style is an elegant mixture of Christian and Moslem elements. The Queen ruled over territory with Christian and Moslem subjects and her aim was to bring the two religions together. There is also a spicy rumour that the palace was the love nest of the Queen and her Turkish lover.
